Amusement Expo International is proud to announce Coach Herm Edwards as its keynote speaker for 2024. In his address, Mr. Edwards will shine a spotlight on how small accomplishments help execute vision in tackling everyday goals. As an ESPN football analyst and former NFL and college head coach Herm Edwards will take attendees through his unique football journey as a player and coach to uncover the life lessons learned along the way. To better understand a team’s roles and responsibilities, participants will experience a “Huddle” to emphasize teamwork, communication and collaboration required to execute a successful game plan.
Mr. Edwards has appeared on a variety of shows including SportsCenter, Get Up and many ESPN radio programs. Before the 2023 football season, ESPN announced Edwards as a co-host for its weekly studio show, Monday Blitz, blending game reaction and topics across both the NFL and NCAA football.
In addition to his successful broadcast career, Herm Edwards worked as head coach at Arizona State where he led the Sun Devils to three bowl games in his first four seasons in Tempe. Also at ASU, Edwards contributed to many other aspects of the university including serving as a Professor of Practice in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication where he was a guest lecturer and held periodic discussions around sports and media.
As NFL head coach for the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs, Mr. Edwards led both teams to the postseason in his inaugural season.
Prior to coaching Mr. Edwards never missed a game in nine seasons as a NFL defensive back with the Philadelphia Eagles. He started in Super Bowl XV and his 33 career interceptions remain tied for second most in franchise history.
